Word of the week (1)

Every week I challenge myself to learn a new word, usually something obscure. So I thought you might like to learn it with me. The best part is trying to put it in a sentence, some of them are so weird there is no way of getting it natural conversation, you have to form really weird sentences. Some of my friends ask me what my word of the week is which is cool.

Some words I like the sound of, some the meaning and some the way they feel when you say them. Do you know what I mean? Like the word ‘lullaby’ I love how that feels to say. Come on, say it with me, ‘Lullaby’ ‘Lullaby’ cool eh? Sometimes you have to say a word a few times to get the feel of it.

Anyway, without further ado, here is the word of the week this week –

It means a good looking or handsome person. I hope you can feel me grinning from there, because not only is the word snout really funny but you can now use it acceptably in every day life! I shall help you out with some examples in case you are not overly comfortable with getting in touch with your wordy self.

“Well, aren’t you looking very snoutfair today?!”

“Ohhh did you see (insert name here) today? He was looking all kinds of snoutfair”

“Yes, you are very snoutfair, now stop looking in the mirror”

How will you get it in a sentence this week?

See you soon…….
